UNDERSTANDING THAT MOTIVATION ISN’T ALWAYS ENOUGH

Inspiration is just a fleeting emotion that needs to be backed up with something stronger.

Always focus on bringing people up, not down and leadbyexample. Inspiration, doesn’t last long.

You gotta find something more consistent to replace it with.

That’s MOTIVATION, this is improved by your success, but its downside is that fluctuates and isn’t a very reliable tool, however it’s a big key in that intermediate phase of #dieting.
But how do we get people motivated? Motivation has to be goal specific.
👏 So here we’ve got INSPIRATION which is the PUSH, WHICH IS MOTIVATED by a REALISTIC but CHALLENGING GOAL 👏
👉 Now when motivation is down you’ll need something STRONGER than that to fill up those gaps of low motivation:
#COMMITMENT & #INTENTION. So even when you’re not motivated you’re still going to do whatever it takes and will stick to the PLAN.
The key here is to have a #PLAN. If you dont have a plan you wont have anything to stick to. If you have a plan is easy, when your motivation is ⬆️, you stick to it. When it’s ⬇️, you use your INTENTION & COMMITMENT to stay FOCUSED. . Now you can have all the intention of the world ( it’s a promise, it’s a dream), but it ain’t enough, so here comes the #DISCIPLINE. This is something that uses #WILLPOWER to accomplish your #ADHERENCE up to where it needs to be. The caveat here is that WILLPOWER has a limit and it can get burned out pretty quickly and it may not recover that quickly so there’s when #HABITS come in.

How to be DISCIPLINED? Acknowledge that there will be tough times and you gotta do what it takes. If you ate not motivated then you use your discipline With HABITS so get so automated with all that stuff that it starts to take that motivation and WILLPOWER of the game, making ADHERENCE much easier.

You just do things automatically, it just comes naturally, its something you do because of habits. So habits reduce how much discipline you need. You may need a little WILLPOWER every now and again but not a constant need of it.

To create those habits you gotta have a structure such as simple and sustainable customized meal plans, strategies around behavior change , how to do meal prep, how to count macros , read labels, ongoing coaching and support.

However the caveat of habits is that you gotta hang in there, they can take a while to develop 2 weeks at least.
So does it get easier? 100% yes.

The last thing to achieve ADHERENCE is passion.

Get excited and passionate about the journey, get in love with healthy eating, educate yourself more , be part of a community to share experiences and ideas, which elevates passion to a whole new level . HOPE THIS HELPS
