Mindless eating is where we are NOT in the MOMENT when WE EAT. Whilst that is definitely OK some of the time, if it’s every day, it can become a problem. Examples of mindless eating could be eating out of habit, eating out of boredom, eating when we are stressed, eating without thinking
There are 3 main styles of mindless eating: • Restrained Eating – dieting for a very long time. • External Eating – eating in response to an external factor. • Emotional Eating – eating due emotions.
