ABout me
My Story
Astrid K Naranjo Martínez
When I left Venezuela for Australia, I had nothing certain waiting for me. Just two suitcases, a strong accent, and the determination to start my life from scratch. I had studied Nutrition and Dietetics back home, but rebuilding in a new country wasn’t just about getting another degree. It was about rebuilding myself.
Like so many women I now work with, I spent years at war with my body. I tried restrictive diets, punished myself in the gym, and thought willpower was the answer. I lost weight, regained it, and repeated the cycle—each time feeling more frustrated, more ashamed, and more disconnected from my own body.
The breakthrough came when I stopped chasing the next diet and started focusing on food freedom. Bodybuilding became a part of my healing, not because I needed the stage to prove my worth, but because the process showed me how empowering it feels to build strength, confidence, and discipline from the inside out.
That experience inspired me to create InsideOut Fit—a coaching program built for women who feel like they’ve tried everything, yet nothing has worked long-term. InsideOut Fit isn’t another diet plan. It’s a system that helps women rebuild their metabolism, break free from the “all or nothing” trap, and finally feel strong, confident, and in control around food.
I bring both sides to the table: my academic and clinical background (a Master’s in Nutrition & Dietetic Practice from Bond University, years of work in hospitals and research), and my lived experience as a woman who knows exactly what it’s like to feel stuck in the cycle of restriction and guilt.
Now, I share this mission with a global community of over 100,000 women online, where I post daily insights, practical tools, and conversations with leading experts in fitness and nutrition. But at the heart of it all, my message is simple: you’re not broken. You don’t need another extreme diet. You need a way to create results that last—by starting from the inside out.
